Since I started doing a Ministry Mentoring project in Sri Lanka in connection with my studies, I have been doing a lot of thinking about the importance of Ministry Mentoring. As I have taught seminars in various parts of Sri Lanka and India, a number of seminar participants said that they had already been involved in mentoring activities. However, the seminar was an opportunity to become more intentional about mentoring and think more clearly about mentoring as a significant learning activity. We can equip people better if we become more skilled at mentoring. We may be skilled in our own work but how can we best transfer what we know to those who look to us to equip and empower them? What do you think about this?
